A Beautiful Sunday Morning
Sunday Mornings make me Contemplative...

This Sunday morning was spent with the whole family. Snuggles with the kiddos and coffee with Matt. All topped off with as many blueberry pancakes as we could eat! It was the calm before the storm lol. They say that Sunday is the Lords day and a day of rest and I can honestly say most our Sunday MORNINGS are. We tend to take our time and enjoy each other on Sunday morning while we recover from the busy week/weekend. It makes me appreciate my people. It doesn't usually last the whole day though...

And Just Like That we were off for a full day! Matt had yard work and some things around the homestead that he had wanted to get done outside all week and had been prevented by wether. Me and the Kiddos hit the road to the horse show to cheer on some friends and see one of my latest projects in action. (if you follow me on social media you know I have been building a Mobile coffee bar trailer for one of my good friends daughters to start their own business with.) Trust me a post is soon to come on how all that went😉. We then hit the road again after a quick costume change. We headed to a baby shower for a family member and got to see quite a few of the extended family we don't get to see very often so that was fun!

This all brings me back to why we (and I promise I'm the worst about this, but I know I'm not the only one) can't seem to take the Lords WHOLE day? Spend it with our loved ones and re-charge for the coming week. I guess really we did do that today. We may have been busy while doing it but I got to spend the whole day with two of my favorite humans, we got to see our beloved friends at the horse show and then we got to see family at the baby shower. I guess even though I sit here exhausted from the whole experience I'm also motivated and charged for my week after spending our Sunday with loved ones. It's alll about perspective!
